By accessing or using CadetsOnline, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including site administrators, organization members, and visitors to sites hosted on our platform.

2. Description of Service

CadetsOnline provides a website hosting and management platform designed for Canadian cadet organizations. Our services include website creation and hosting, event calendar management with Google Calendar integration, content management, and related features based on your subscription plan.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CadetsOnline to: publish content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable; impersonate any person or entity; transmit spam, malware, or other harmful code; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts; use the platform for any purpose other than managing a legitimate organization website; or violate any applicable laws or regulations.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you publish through CadetsOnline. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and distribute that content as necessary to provide our services. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you publish.

The CadetsOnline platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Avenue.io Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid features require an active subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you are entitled to a refund.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with reasonable notice where possible. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will make your data available for export for 30 days following termination.

8. Limitation of Liability

CadetsOnline is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avenue.io Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these terms at any time by posting an updated version on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
